Many types of tea have caffeine, which is a drug, which means that Tea drinkers are at risk of developing CDS (caffeine dependence syndrome).

Tea also contains TANNIN, which is dangerous to health when consumed on a large extent.

I think that some types of tea don’t have any caffeine in it. It also depends on how much water you put in it as well as how fine the tea leaves are (the finer/smaller they are, the more the caffeine infuses with the water).

I don’t think tea is something you can get really “addicted” to, at least not in my opinion.

It is not just the content that can get you addicted, but it is the taste also that might do the trick! I also know few who like to tea from a particular cafe and thats because they love the ambience and not the tea! But eventually they like the whole process altogether and have got addicted to it!
